How to Turn Sleepless Nights into Sweet Dreams
Energy-takers are not easy to be around because they drain our energy. Energy-creators either contribute to the world and inspire us, or give their energy away without being aware of it. If you have difficulty sleeping you could be in the wrong job because your energy is drained by an energy-taker or by those activities that go against who you are.

Depression symptoms show little change during the development and progression of Alzheimer’s disease
Depression is commonly reported in people with Alzheimer’s disease and its precursor, mild cognitive impairment, with several studies suggesting having a history of major depression may nearly double your risk of developing dementia later in life. However, it has been unclear if depression is a symptom of the disease or a potential cause of the disease. read more…

Open Question: My partner thinks I have Post Natal Depression, but I’m just exhausted (long question)?
I have a 9 year old son and a new baby of 5 and a half weeks. After my 9 year old was born I suffered from post natal depression which went un-diagnosed for many months so it got quite bad, and I ended up on anti-depressants for over a year.
I’m divorced from my 9 year old’s father and now with a new partner whom I’ve been with for about 2 and a half years. We have a baby together who is now 5 and a half weeks old. So far I’ve done every single night feed and got up every single morning when baby wakes at about 6.30am. I do understand that my partner goes out to work, and so I don’t mind doing the night feeds and I don’t have a problem getting up in the mornings during the week. The only issue I have is that, at weekends, I think we should get up with baby on one morning each so that the other person can have a lie in bed. (I’m still happy to do the night feeding at weekends.)
Last night I told my partner that I’m exhausted and that I need him to do more, and asked if we can do the alternate mornings thing at the weekends for as long as baby is not sleeping through. I was quite tearful during this conversation, mainly because I am just tired and over-emotional. But this morning he told me that he thinks I need to go to see my doctor, as he thinks I have post natal depression again. I know what depression feels like, I know the symptoms I had last time and I’m certain I don’t have it. I really am just exhausted after all these weeks of broken sleep every night whilst my partner snores away happily through it all. I feel like he’s just not listening to me, or understanding what its like to be so tired and desperate. And now I feel I don’t even want to ask for his help or talk to him about this because he is just going to try to convince me I’m depressed.
Do any other new parents out there have any helpful advice for me as to how I can get through to him, make him listen and understand, and make him believe me that this is not depression, its just plain too much for me and I need his help, not anti-depressants?

Open Question: I am bipolar. I have most of the symptoms. I am freaking out now?
it kind of makes me look at myself differently.
On one hand, it explains stuff. I would be hard on myself for being depressed because I would think, “What is there to be sad about?”
The mania is horrible. I feel kind of like I can’t take credit for any of my “creative” ideas now because those ideas come from my bipolar-affected brain. I’m feeling a bit abnormal.
I know there’s more to me than just mental disorders. At least, I feel like I can rest now
I’m not violent or anything. I mostly experience the mania side. I’m not sure which is worse, the mania or depression

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
