Oatmeal Facials You Can Make at Your Home
Clean, clear beautiful skin is something everyone wants. This beautiful complexion is important especially for the face. Many will spend hundred on expensive products or professional beauty spas.
No matter why you want to homemade facials, explore those using oatmeal because oatmeal is great for the skin. Here are some good ones to try.
A tablespoon of oatmeal powder, a single egg white, and a few drops of lemon oil are what you need for this first recipe. Look for lemon oil at a natural or homeopathic store or in the organic section of your grocery store. Oatmeal powder can be made by smashing oatmeal that you have on hand. You don’t want to use the instant kind, however. Because this mixture uses egg, be sure to mix the ingredients thoroughly and completely. Be careful to avoid your eyes as you spread the mixture on your face. Leave the mask on your face until it is dry which usually takes about twenty minutes or so. Remove the dried mask using water and a soft washcloth.
Combine a fourth cup of oatmeal, a fourth cup of almonds, a tablespoon of cornstarch and a tablespoon of chamomile flowers (or a tablespoon of chamomile flower tea). Blend all of these ingredients together in your blender or in a food processor and then put the mixture into glass jars. To use this facial mix, put a couple teaspoons on your hand and make a paste by adding a bit of water to it. Then using soft circular motions, spread the mixture on your face with your fingers. When spreading over your face, avoid your eyes, and then rinse off with warm water and a soft washcloth.
Really oily skin can also benefit from an oatmeal facial. The following recipe is one of the simplest you can make. Add some water to some fresh and natural oatmeal to form a nice and creamy paste. Spread this on your face, again avoiding the area around your eyes, and let it dry completely. This might take a while but try to be patient. Rub it off your face with your fingers once the mask is completely dried. Now your skin should feel clean and moisturized but not excessively oily. Rinse away any leftover oatmeal bits with some water and then pat dry thoroughly with a clean and soft towel.
You probably already have all the necessary ingredients to make these simple recipes. Making your own facials will save you money while giving you beautiful skin. So why spend money at a spa when you can get the same results in the comfort of your own home?
I composed this post about DIY Oatmeal Facial since it’s health related and while considering a career in the med assisting niche, I published a posting about medical assisting you’ll find very worthwhile.
